Fern Purin – Natural Wireworm Repellent

Description Rich in trace elements and mineral salts (calcium and potassium), its chemical composition allows fern extract to be an effective product against several "enemies" of crops, such as slugs and snails. Fern extract is also used to eliminate woolly aphids, also known as apple woolly aphids (which most chemical insecticides fail to control). It is said to be effective against the potato wireworm and grapevine mealybug. It is one of the few products that can be used in a "curative" manner. Usage in chicken coops against red mites in hens. How to use it? Against mealybugs: for 1 liter: 20% fern extract, 5% white vinegar, 1 teaspoon of denatured alcohol, and 1 teaspoon of black soap; repeat every 30 minutes for 3 days. Against woolly aphids (apple tree, etc.), dilute fern extract to 20% with black soap. Against wireworms (potato, beet, carrot, etc.), apply diluted to 20% at the base of the plants. For large crops, apply at sowing on the seeds. Very good results when combined with castor cake. Gardening, horticulture, nurseries... For planting and maintenance: 10% diluted for watering every 3 weeks. Maintenance of perennials, trees, and shrubs. In autumn and spring: 10% for spraying or watering (after harvest and at the start of vegetation). It is sometimes advisable to combine fern extract with other extracts depending on the desired effects, in which case the percentages are reduced.
