Givry 1er Cru Clos Jus

Pinot Noir, the emblematic grape variety of great red wines from Burgundy. CLIMATE Located in the commune of Dracy-le-Fort, the "Clos Jus" climate, classified as Premier Cru, is a 6-hectare and 55-are plot surrounded by stone walls. Our vines draw from a red clay-limestone soil, with very chalky and stony subsoils, all the intensity and depth that characterize our Givry 1er Cru "Clos Jus." Vinification and Aging Harvesting of grapes at perfect maturity. Selective sorting of the best bunches through photometric analysis upon receipt of the harvest. Maceration for 15 days. Pneumatic pressing to preserve the quality of the juices. Malolactic fermentation in barrels. Aging in barrels (new barrels and 5-year-old barrels) for 12 months. Bottling at the optimal moment and resting of the wine before marketing. TASTING NOTES This wine, with its cherry-red color, reveals a complex nose. Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C
