The wine: La Pierre is a superb Cahors, full of concentration and finesse, crafted by the Croisille family. The aging of this great wine took place over 10 months in a limestone vat sourced from the region's terroir, which the siblings had custom-made by a local artisan! Energy and minerality emerge from this unique bottle, evolving on the palate with a velvety texture, accompanied by a very charming fruitiness (black cherry, strawberry, blackberry) along with a hint of graphite. A great terroir wine that is already perfectly accessible but also capable of improving with age! The estate: In 1979, Bernard and Cécile Croisille arrived in the commune of Luzech, not far from Cahors, without any technical background but with a burning passion for the land and a life project. After difficult initial years of planting and clearing their 7 hectares, the first harvest finally arrived in 1984.
