Unlike air coils, the coils on supports, as their name suggests, have a ferromagnetic core or a coil body made of a different material. The advantage of support coils: higher inductances can be generated. Whether it's a complicated manufacturing process or an adaptation to specific requirements, KUK produces the winding tailored to your needs, thanks to its own winding lines. The coils are partly manufactured on standard coil formers. However, we primarily wind on customer-specific coil formers. We would be happy to advise you on the optimal core material for your coil.
