Flow Meter for Liquids / Ultrasonic / High Temperature / Series - The OPTISONIC 3400 is a 3-path ultrasonic flow meter designed for a wide range of standard and more demanding process applications involving homogeneous, non-viscous aqueous liquids and viscous liquids with viscosities exceeding 1000 cSt. This inline measuring device is also the perfect choice for applications involving cryogenic products (down to -200°C / -328°F), media with extended temperature ranges, and low or extremely high pressure levels. Based on the time-of-flight differential method, the 3 parallel acoustic paths of the flow meter allow for bi-directional measurement regardless of the flow profile, ensuring high accuracy even under less favorable flow profile conditions (e.g., short inlet and outlet runs). Additionally, through the speed of sound, the device can detect changes in the process or contamination of the liquid. Thanks to its fully welded construction without obstruction, the device operates without pressure loss and requires no maintenance.
