Ready-Mixed Concrete

Ready-mixed concrete is produced in a fully automated manner according to precise recipes at the ready-mixed concrete plant, ensuring consistent quality. It is delivered to the construction site in a mixer truck "just in time." There, it is accurately placed into the prepared formwork using a crane bucket or a concrete pump. Any leftover amounts are taken back and recycled into their reusable original components. Today, ready-mixed concrete is manufactured for a wide range of requirements. This includes specialty concretes such as high-strength concretes, radiation-shielding concretes, waterproof concretes, shotcrete, drainage concretes, fiber-reinforced concretes, lightweight and heavyweight concretes, mortars, screeds, and much more. By using a broad range of additives and admixtures, the properties of the concrete can be tailored to suit its specific application.
