Single-tube heat exchanger - Bundle heat exchanger for various applications

The Shell & Tube Single product line includes small to medium-sized bundle heat exchangers in single-tube design for a variety of applications. The heat exchanger bundles can be constructed with smooth tubes, low or high finned tubes, or compact finned tubes to achieve maximum efficiency and compactness. The smooth tube design is particularly suitable for applications with similar heat transfer coefficients on the primary and secondary sides of the heat exchanger, such as in a water/water heat exchanger. The compact finned tube design is the right choice when the heat transfer coefficients of the media used differ significantly, for example, when cooling oil with water. Low and high finned tubes represent a hybrid form of the two previously mentioned options and allow for further optimizations.
