Anodizing Process

The anodizing process functionally and decoratively enhances the surface properties of aluminum materials. Unlike galvanization, no foreign layers are applied to the material here – the layer formed during anodizing comes from the metal itself. Aluminum has a natural protective layer against corrosion and weathering, which can be built up to 30 µm through the electrochemical process of anodizing. The layer grows from the surface into the material and is characterized by excellent adhesion strength. We anodize with our 7 systems in a performance range of 10,500 A with a maximum individual dimension of 350 x 1,000 x 3,000 mm.
