Platinum resistance thermometers for automatic assembly on circuit boards - The IST AG FlipChip series includes sensors with excellent long-term stability, fast response times, and low self-heating. The FlipChips have been designed with contacts on only one side to avoid short circuits on the back of the chip. We offer various FC technologies for different assembly processes (reflow soldering, adhesive bonding, wire bonding, or welding). The FC sensors are available in different accuracy classes up to IEC 60751 F0.3 (IST AG tolerance class B) and in various sizes (0603 / 0805 / 1206 / other sizes available upon request). The IST AG FC sensors are ideally suited for applications with limited space and offer an optimal price-performance ratio. Due to their small dimensions, a standard 0805 FC occupies the same area as a standard 0603 SMD with re-contacting on a circuit board.
