LASER CLEANING SYSTEM FOR ANILOX CYLINDERS Cleaning anilox cylinders has always been one of the biggest concerns for flexographic printers. If the cylinders are not perfectly clean, they reduce their transfer capacity, resulting in a loss of color intensity in the printing process, which can have significant production consequences: invalid prints, longer startup times, etc. I-LAC effectively addresses this issue with a laser that thoroughly removes dried ink from the interior of the cells without damaging the cylinder's structure. A specially designed optical laser vaporizes any residue and cleans away dried ink, adhesives, waxes, silicones, etc. The laser technology allows for cleaning without applying any mechanical or thermal action to the anilox cylinder.
