Hydro Profi Line® Plant Pots for Hydroponic Plants: Hydroponic plants are suspended in the Hydro Profi Line® system disc with their cultivation pot, floating above the bottom of the container in a waterproof vessel. The distance from the bottom of the container to the bottom of the suspended cultivation pot is at least 2 cm and a maximum of 17 cm, depending on the size of the container and cultivation pot used. The system disc seals almost airtight with the inner wall of the container. The space below the system disc down to the bottom of the container is the root growth area. This area contains only air and water, creating a humid climate zone that is ideal for the growth of nutrient roots. Since no filling material is used in the growth area, there is a vast water storage space, preventing root compaction and thereby eliminating the risk of root rot. The plants grow beautifully and do not need to be repotted.
