The oil-free and dry compressing membrane linear pumps with drive via a magnetic coupling from the PB-42 product line are designed for loss-free evacuation and compression of rare and thus costly gases and vapors, such as Helium-3. Within the product line, six different models are offered. The PB-42 product line is equipped with a dual-cylinder membrane pump. The new drive, developed and implemented for the first time by hyco vacuum technology using a magnetic coupling, achieves a hermetic seal. The pump operates more quietly. In the event of a membrane rupture in the pump, there is no loss, as the design principle ensures that there is no leakage. Contactless transmission is guaranteed, as mechanical transmission is completely absent due to the independent bearing of the pump, and an additional seal to the motor is present.
