Sandblasting

In our centrifugal wheel blasting system, workpieces are pre-treated that would exhibit adhesion failures with conventional pre-treatment. Sandblasting is the surface treatment of a workpiece using sand as an abrasive. In this process, the sand is applied to the surface to be treated under pressure using a strong air stream. The method is used for the thorough removal of dirt, rust, paint, scale, and other contaminants. Additionally, it serves to smooth surfaces. Parts with a size of 1.20 m x 1.60 m and a weight of up to 700 kg can be processed here.
