Flyer Chains

For the transport of heavy loads, flyer chains provide a powerful solution. The flyer chains standardized according to ISO 4347 are used as load chains in cranes, hoists, and lifting devices, as well as for accommodating counterweights and for transmitting reversing movements under load. Flyer chains are constructed as link chains and operate without the engagement of a sprocket due to their design. The variable arrangement of the links (outer links x inner links) is selected based on the load. Outer and inner end links at the ends of the chains provide the option to easily secure the flyer chain to the corresponding receiving forks. Flyer chains of the heavy series U according to factory standards are particularly suitable for high demands.
