Hand-held Magnet UM Series HANSA for Magnetic Particle Testing

Lightweight, handy, and powerful hand-held yoke for magnetizing components for magnetic particle testing applications. The hand-held yoke magnet UM from the HANSA series is available in various designs. They differ in the dimensions of the central pole spacing and the arm length. The pole spacing can also be adjusted by adding auxiliary poles. There are versions for alternating current (AC 230 V, AC 110 V, or with transformer AC 42 V) and direct current. The hand-held yoke magnet UM-15 is standardly equipped with three-part, movable arms. With these, pole spacings (center/center) can be adjusted from 95 mm to 245 mm. The hand-held yoke magnets meet the requirements of ASTM E709-21 and ASTM E1444/E1444M-21. The breakaway force is >27 kg / >265 N. This also meets the requirement of ASTM E 709-21 (at least 23.0 kg / 225 N).
