TWIN-TECHNOLOGY stands for a redundant machine with two completely separate refrigeration circuits in one unit - providing the same safety as two separate heat pumps, but with lower investment and maintenance costs. The system is two-stage, meaning fewer start-up cycles in partial load operation and thus a longer lifespan. With the two separate refrigeration circuits, less refrigerant is required; consequently, fewer safety measures are necessary. The less refrigerant in the system, the fewer regulations imposed by the EU in the future.
