Stress-Free Annealing

Stress relief annealing reduces internal stresses by heating in a chamber furnace and then slowly cooling down. Stress relief annealing up to 650°C without protective gas Internal stresses can arise from machining or welding processes. These can lead to warping during subsequent heat treatment. In stress relief annealing, these stresses are largely reduced by heating in a chamber furnace below A1 (723º C) and then slowly cooling down. Our furnace sizes Large chamber furnace (l/w/h) 1400 / 750 / 400 Small chamber furnace (l/w/h) 500 / 500 / 400
