Application in the boom of web-fed printing machines. Originating from a Value Engineering project, a machined part was cost-effectively replaced with a deep-drawn part and a plastic ring. Application in the boom of web-fed printing machines. Complex joining part consisting of a housing (stamped part) and an airtight pressed plastic flange. Stamped part made of stainless strip steel with a very high degree of deformation. This results in a significant weight saving compared to a solid part. The stamped part and flange are bonded airtight at the end face.
