KLINGER Graphite Sealing Tape

Sealing tape made of pure, expanded graphite. Very flexible, it adapts excellently to the irregularities of sealing points. KLINGER graphite sealing tape is resistant to a wide range of media and has a temperature resistance of -200 to +500 °C (in reduced or inert atmospheres even above +1000 °C). This material is self-lubricating (suitable for max. 40 m/sec.), food-safe, flexible across the entire temperature range, exceptionally resistant to temperature fluctuations, and easy to process. • Type 1: Ribbed, non-adhesive sealing tape for use as a universal packing for pumps and fittings. It is wrapped around shafts and spindles and compressed into a packing with the glasses. • Type 2: Ribbed, self-adhesive sealing tape. Ideal material for sealing large flanges and sealing surfaces.
