Contour 70

The FMB kontur 70 has been specifically designed for processing profiled material bars. The guidance of the material bar is handled by ball-bearing bush units. These are equipped with at least 8 interchangeable guide bushes made of plastic, which have a receiving hole corresponding to the profile of the material bar. It is designed for material bars with an outer diameter between 20 and 70 mm and operates on the principle of a two-stage feed system. This allows for a very compact and space-saving design through the pivoting of the feed rod. Furthermore, the massive machine bed made of cast iron ensures the necessary stability, especially for the precise processing of asymmetrical profile shapes. Application area: Single-spindle lathes with a nominal diameter of up to approximately 70 mm, on which profiled bar material up to a length of 3200 mm is permanently processed.
