Rods & Bars

The division of solder into rods and bars is based on the respective processing techniques and later applications. Rod solders are processed partly manually, but very often mechanically. Due to the variety of suitable shapes for almost all types of materials, particularly many metal or alloy variants can be achieved with cast rod solders. The pressed and therefore very homogeneous solder bars are generally very precisely dosable. This also enables very delicate soldering work in valve manufacturing, measuring instrument construction, as well as process-optimized repair soldering on industrial connecting rods and sliding bearings.
