Food-grade N2O is nitrous oxide, which, as you might guess, is used in the food industry and therefore has the appropriate quality for this purpose. This form of nitrous oxide is purified and has a purity level of 99.7%. Food-grade nitrous oxide (N2O) is used, among other things, in whipped cream capsules. This gas can be sold in cream capsules and introduced into the whipped cream siphon, or through the well-known whipped cream cartridges. Nitrous oxide (N2O) mixes well with the fatty substances added to the whipped cream siphon to create mousse, cream, or whipped cream. In addition to this advantage, nitrous oxide (N2O) in the food industry also has the benefit of possessing antibacterial properties. This allows whipped cream to remain fresh in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
