Interior Renovation of Basement Rooms

Due to moisture from the ground, the walls had been affected. After the former barracks of the Guard Dragoons from 1853, now the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg Tax Office, adorned the Mehringdamm with its new facade in 2010, a renovation of the basement level also took place. In September 2013, the renovation of 1,100 square meters began. Following the successful renovation of these premises, the sealing measures were completed in February 2014.
