Cartons, as well as fruit boxes, Styrofoam packaging, and other types of packaging, are the domain of the ERDWICH carton shredders EKZ. The EKZ features two shafts with independent drives: a fast-running tearing shaft and a slow-running feed shaft. The feed shaft directs the carton to the tearing shaft, which tears the packaging apart in no time. In addition to the standard setup as a standalone machine with manual feeding or conveyor feeding, the carton shredder EKZ can also be installed in combination with press containers. Technical Features: - Special single-shaft fine tearing principle - Individually inserted, replaceable tearing knives - Low-maintenance chain drive - External shaft bearings - Compact design, various sizes available - PLC control with reversing and shutdown automation
