RIA15 Loop-Powered Indicator for HART® Signals

The process indicator is available with 4 ... 20 mA technology or with the HART® protocol. In the HART® version, up to 4 measured values from a sensor can be displayed alternately. For this purpose, the indicator can be configured as a primary or secondary HART® master and actively retrieve values from the sensor. The low voltage drop of less than 1 V (< 1.9 V with HART®) represents a significant advantage, especially in Ex applications for explosion hazard areas, where in most cases only a reduced voltage is available.
