Success stories - Difficult parts

Project: Tourist signaling arrow in AlSi12, 1000 mm long. Series ~= 500 pieces Performance: significant flatness required for machining the letters, which is delicate as the part is still flexible when it comes out of the mold; particularly clean raw surface skin despite the long impression to fill. This allows for electrostatic powder coating directly without reworking the surface. Project: Suspension support for monorail in AS7G Batch ~= 1000 pieces Mold received from dissatisfied client (the parts break). Action: design review and casting system. Result Defect-free part that no longer breaks under a load of 3000 daN. Before = melting of almost 3000 kg to make 1000 pieces. After our design review = melting 2024 kg. Gain ~= 1000 kg, about 30% energy savings (90 liters of fuel oil less). Productivity significantly improved. Project: Housing for automated actuator, ~= 5 kg of AlSi9Cu3. Series ~= 1500 pcs.
