The Seamsonic series ultrasonic welding machines combine all the physical advantages of ultrasonic welding with all the technological expertise of sewing. In the PFAFF 8301/8310/8312 Seamsonic, the piece is held between the sonotrode and the anvil wheel and is continuously welded under pressure. When welding continuously using the ultrasonic method, the material to be welded is subjected to rapidly changing pressure vibrations. Heat is generated due to the molecular vibrations that occur beneath the surface of the material, particularly in the case of thin materials near the actual weld.
