This film packaging machine uses a rubberized retracting roller for film tensioning, with the tension level being infinitely adjustable. This allows for both stacks and bundles, such as bottles or cans, to be tightly packed. The use of a separate shrink tunnel enables the shrinking of any excess film, depending on the product. The product feed in this packaging system is done via inline transport or angled feeding. The deformation of the bundles is either created in the packaging machine or taken over pre-grouped from the construction site. The tight packer operates with an upper and a lower film, so that the film packaging is welded together to form a so-called "film curtain."
