i-class CAP 1500/3000

The induction sealing devices of the i-class CAP series are specially adapted high-frequency generators for the inductive heating of aluminum laminate films in packaging technology. The process of inductive high-frequency sealing (cap sealing) is based on the contactless heating of an aluminum foil, which is welded onto the opening of a bottle, canister, cup, etc. through heat. In addition to ensuring airtightness, the integrity of the container is also guaranteed. In the magnetic field of the induction coil, high-frequency energy is transferred contactlessly in a transformer-like manner, which then heats the aluminum layer depending on the operating frequency. The temperature of the aluminum foil exceeds the melting point of the plastic coating, allowing it to be welded under pressure to a similar plastic of the container or with a suitable coating.
