In the magnetic field of the induction coil, high-frequency energy is transferred contactlessly in a transformer-like manner, which then heats the aluminum layer depending on the operating frequency. The temperature of the aluminum foil exceeds the melting point of the plastic coating, allowing it to be welded under pressure to a similar plastic of the container or with a suitable coating.
