Steam Accumulator The BBS steam accumulator is a pressure vessel used for the accumulation of generated steam. Steam accumulators are utilized in steam systems with intermittent steam consumption. When the steam consumption in the system is low, the steam generated by the steam generator is stored. During higher consumption, the stored steam is released to the system. Thus, the use of the steam accumulator optimizes the capacity of the steam generator, positively impacting investment costs. Furthermore, the use of a steam accumulator allows for the uniform nominal operation of the steam boiler system, which optimizes efficiency and consequently reduces operating costs.
