VIGNA SORELLA - Rosso Doc Cannonau di Sardegna (100% Cannonau grapes, aged in steel)

Obtained from the pure processing of Cannonau grapes. After a fermentation on the skins lasting between 15 to 20 days, the batch primarily matures in steel tanks for at least 10 months, while a small portion is aged in French oak tonneaux for less than a year. After bottling, it undergoes 2 to 3 months of refinement. With a vivid ruby red color, Vigna Sorella offers the scents of Sardinia with its youth and freshness, featuring notes of Mediterranean scrub, myrtle, and sour cherry, complemented by a range of minerality. On the palate, it stands out for its good freshness and fine, flavorful tannins. It is distinguished by its versatility, pairing well with both savory appetizers and red meats, perhaps enhanced by the aromas of Mediterranean herbs. It is also excellent with semi-aged cheeses.
