The nominal pressure of thermoplastic valves is generally determined for water at a temperature of 20°C and for a lifespan of 25 years. It should be noted that the higher the temperature, the lower the maximum service pressure, and that not only the transported fluid but also the ambient conditions of the piping system influence the pressure load.
