Marquis de Mons

Commentary The Marquis de Mons is the second wine of Château La Tour de Mons, a single estate property, a true clos, located in the northern part of the Margaux appellation. Several generations have succeeded one another on this land since the origin of the château in the 13th century. The château was classified as Cru Bourgeois in the famous 1936 classification. In 2020, the château was acquired by the Perrodo family, who already own Château Labégorce Margaux and Château Marquis d’Alesme, a Grand Cru Classé from 1855, both of which are close neighbors of Château La Tour de Mons. The Perrodo family's love at first sight for the Margaux region is in line with those who have cherished this land over the centuries; they also have a vision that reveals the remarkable potential of this territory to elevate it to a high level of quality. Grapes: Merlot (56%), Cabernet Sauvignon (38%), Petit Verdot (6%) Producer: Perrodo Family in Soussans (33460) Formats and packaging: Bottle (75cl) - Carton of 6 - 2013
