ARMATHERM FABRIK TECHNISCHER MESSINSTRUMENTE GMBH & CO. KG

The company Armatherm was founded in 1949. In the early days of the business, the focus was on manufacturing glass thermometers and hydrometers for a wide range of applications. Production was aimed at industry, trade, and craftsmanship. The company started in Lipperode near Lippstadt. After a short time, it moved to larger premises in Lemgo. Skilled workers from Central Germany (the home of the glass industry) were hired and formed the core workforce. In Lemgo, the activities were expanded, and the product range included measuring instruments of all kinds: control thermometers, laboratory thermometers, manometers, hydrometers, acid testers, and antifreeze testers. Through a company expansion, the production of protective fittings and mechanical thermometers such as: bimetallic dial thermometers, dial thermometers, and remote thermometers was made possible. Building on customer requirements and our own experiences, the product offerings were then expanded to include assemblies like multi-range manometers, inclined tube manometers, U-tube manometers, and swimming pool thermometers. Additionally, digital handheld measuring devices, built-in measuring devices with digital displays, resistance thermometers, and various special models were introduced.
